Contact, Suggestions & Bug Reports

Calculation Methodology & Data Sources
All Shkali tools are based on official Israeli government and financial sources.
Official Sources
Income tax brackets, Bituah Leumi rates, freelancer thresholds, pension limits, and VAT percentages are based on publications from the Israel Tax Authority, Bituah Leumi, the Ministry of Finance, and the Bank of Israel.
Income Tax Calculation
Israeli income tax is calculated using progressive tax brackets, tax credits (nekudot zikui), and approved deductions according to the 2026 tax year.
Bituah Leumi & Health Tax
Self-employed Bituah Leumi payments are calculated using the official two-tier system: 5.97% and 17.83%, based on income thresholds updated for 2026.
Pension & Keren Hishtalmut
Pension and training fund calculations follow Israeli self-employed pension regulations and tax deduction rules.
VAT & Osek Patur Threshold
Current VAT rate: 18%. Osek Patur annual revenue ceiling for 2026: ₪122,833.
Advance Tax Payments
Advance tax estimates are calculated based on projected annual profit and formulas commonly used by the Israel Tax Authority.
Accuracy & Responsibility
Important: Israeli tax laws change frequently. Always consult a certified Israeli CPA or tax advisor before making important financial decisions.
Accessibility & Security
Shkali follows an Accessibility First approach.
-
Minimal third-party plugins — many accessibility overlays break screen readers and slow down websites.
-
Accessibility is built into the code — semantic HTML, ARIA attributes, keyboard navigation, and WCAG-compliant contrast ratios.
-
Privacy focused — we avoid invasive third-party tracking systems whenever possible.
-
Responsive interface — optimized for all screen sizes and both RTL and LTR languages.

1. Information Collection
Shkali ("the Site", "the Service") is built with an approach of privacy, simplicity, and transparency. The financial data entered into the calculators, such as income, expenses, salary data, tax amounts, VAT, National Insurance, and calculation results, are processed directly in the user's browser (Client-Side) and are not stored on the site's server.
This means the site does not maintain a personal repository of your calculations, does not build a personal financial profile based on the data you entered, and does not sell personal financial data to third parties.
However, the site may collect general and technical usage data for the purpose of operation, security, improving user experience, understanding how the tools on the site are used, and improving the service over time.
2. Cookies & LocalStorage
The site may use cookies, LocalStorage, and similar technologies for the proper operation of the site, saving user preferences such as language and display mode, improving the user experience, measuring performance, and displaying relevant content or advertising.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. However, fully blocking cookies or local storage may impair some functions of the site.
3. Google Analytics and Google Ads
The site may use Google services, including Google Analytics and Google Ads / Google AdSense, for analyzing site usage, measuring performance, improving the service, and displaying relevant advertisements.
These services may collect technical and statistical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on the site, referral source, and general interactions with site pages. Information is collected and processed in accordance with Google's privacy policy and terms of use.
Shkali does not transfer to Google the personal financial data entered into the calculators, such as exact income, personal expenses, or individual calculation results generated in the browser.
4. Contact Form Inquiries
When sending an inquiry via the contact form, details such as name, email address, and the content of the inquiry may be stored. This information is used solely for the purpose of responding and is not sold or transferred to advertisers.
We reserve the right to retain inquiry details for a reasonable period for the purpose of handling the request, service documentation, preventing misuse, or complying with legal requirements, as necessary.
5. Third-Party Providers
The site may use external services for operation, security, measurement, loading resources, displaying fonts, advertising, and improving the service. These services may include, among others, Google Fonts, Google Analytics, Google Ads / AdSense, and other technical services.
Third-party providers operate according to their own privacy policies. The site administration strives to select well-known, stable, and industry-standard services but is not fully responsible for how third parties manage information within their systems.
6. Information Security
The site operates via a secure HTTPS connection and uses accepted security measures to protect the service and users. We make a reasonable effort to maintain a safe, stable, and respectful usage environment.
However, as with any internet service, it is impossible to guarantee absolute security of information transmitted or stored on the network.
7. User Rights
In accordance with applicable law, including the Israeli Privacy Protection Law and, where relevant, the European GDPR regulations, a user may submit a request to view, correct, or delete personal information stored about them, to the extent such information exists within the site's systems.
For privacy inquiries, you may use the contact form appearing on the site.
8. Changes to the Policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy from time to time. In the event of a material change, the update date at the top of the policy will be updated accordingly.
Continued use of the site after the policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
